(In Our Memory Forever)

This page is a menu to the tributes to those afghan hounds that we have loved dearly over the years

Dominique Dominique was the first afghan hound we commited to purchase but not the first in the house as her wise breeder had standards that took time to play out. She was a sweet loving domino that captured our hearts and souls... and partly the reason we became so af-flicted.
Tut Although the second purchased, Tut was the first into our home. He was a strong able apricot brindle hound that loved family. During his long life he gave us more than anyone could imagine.
Satin A feisty blue bitch who stuck around for a long time. Another with a unique ornery personality who won our hearts and souls.
Cezanne There is much we do not know about sweet Cezanne, a self-masked red. He came to us through the local dog warden who when she found him, checked with us in case one of ours had gotten away. Once we realized what his fate might be if they didn't find the owner, we made sure they knew we would spring him in a heartbeat.
Abra Abra was a beautiful self masked cream that we had the pleasure of adopting when her original owners felt they couldn't handle a new baby, horse, and dog. (Personally I know they elected the wrong one to let go.) Their loss, our gain. She was the last of the first (nearly) 20 year wave. We miss her dearly.
Coffee To say Coffee was special would be an understatement of the ultimate magnitude. This black and tan package of dynamite was my heart dog and the reason we finally got into showing and breeding. He and his personna were the reason we took the path we did, not the other way around. It was intended that he be part of our foundation but fate took him far too soon.
Shetanna Like Coffee, Shetanna was meant to be part of our foundation. This rather discriminating blue brindle domino was special in many ways. And again, like Coffee, fate took her out of the program but left her to stay with us until she was nearly thirteen.
Loco Loco was first brought into the family to serve as a reinforcement to the foundation (or prelude to) of our breeding program. He very soon went far beyond that role to capture our hearts. His contributions to our breeding program are significant but above that he will remain a piece of our hearts.

Note: Through the years and many moves most of the papers on the early hounds have become inaccessible (read lost). On this page (the index/menu) no registered names will appear. As I locate pictures and create their individual pages, I will try to research and (where known and appropriate) put those registered names there.
